Our philosophy
"Moving you between the lines : when the firm was founded in 2012, the two founders were brought together by a commitment that is now shared by the partners who have since joined the 186 | AVOCATS family.
We all firmly believe that our mission as lawyers means that, both for ourselves and our clients, we should push our boundaries to protect your interests.
On a day-to-day basis, moving you between the line means identifying the rough edges of the cases assigned to us in order to propose a solution adapted to our clients’ environment and constraints. For the firm, we are able to move forward thanks to the cohesion of our teams of partners and associates.
The need to cover a broader range of practice areas by adding partners with proven track records in real estate and construction law, employment law, business litigation and corporate law became apparent in 2016.
Finally, moving you between the lines means seizing every opportunity to improve the quality of our services or our proximity to our customers: in this respect, the partnership established with La Solution Formalités in 2018, the opening of the Nantes office the same year, the 186-adventure started in London in 2019 and the sports initiatives taken within the firm (sponsorship, advice to players, etc.) demonstrate the firm's ambition to fully embrace its environment.

With six partners and around a dozen associates driven by the ambition to advise and defend in all circumstances, 186 | AVOCATS provides its clients with legal expertise covering both advisory and litigation services on the main issues of business law.
186 | AVOCATS has developed with highly qualified lawyers, trained to advise and act for our clients in order to respond to the complexity of the situations they face. When necessary, we work as a team on projects or litigation involving several practice areas.

After the rapid development of our Paris and Nantes offices, 186 | AVOCATS decided to cross the Channel to set up an office in London, 186 | LONDON, to be closer to our many British clients.
